You're making pretty decent money, you live by yourself, and if your life is on track, you're showing girls that you're stable, driven, responsible, and going somewhere in life. My brother is in his thirties and is an absolute man-child. I cannot even begin to explain in human words what a loser he is. He's still a fedora tipping socially awkward sperg "nice guy" and he has it so easy he exists in a bubble so nobody makes fun of him for it. He's always been a spoiled coddled little boy and he's never been stigmatized for not being a real man. The guy has had it more and more easy as time goes on, his life has been one privileged sperg fest.

I've also been mistaken for him 3 different times by 3 different people. The respect and admiration I felt from those people was amazing. Then I told them who I actually was and their demeanor changed completely.

If my brother is anything to go by, you may just have the privilege of being a man-child and people still liking you in your thirties. And yes, women like him too (although he ignores them) and other guys automatically respect him.

You don't really feel old until you hit late 30's. I'm 37 at the moment and I'm starting to feel it. I have nothing in common and no interest in being around early/mid 20's people anymore. They're like kids and I honestly find them boring.

It's very hard if not impossible to make friends. I'm at the point I no longer care for social relationships. I've come to peace with the fact it's very likely I will spend the rest of my life alone. But after all the drama and pain and bullshit of my teens/20's. I'm okay with that. I don't have much money or own jack shit but I'm finally in a place where I can just focus on myself in peace and quiet and what I do isn't dependant on approval from others.

Do you have a steady relationship/spouse/so?

If the answer to two or all three is no, then you are entering a hell few have the fortitude to escape from, 30 is hitting the point of no return. Your body at the age of 25 starts mutating and by your 30s you start to feel it directly and the possess of dying is officially in motion. That means your best days are far behind you now, all you have is the memories of what you did in your youth and whatever future you have to look forward to will be framed around your work, spouse, and/or kids. If you have none of those things, then that's going to make your day to day process very hard. You likely will start to erode mentally due to the lack of life keeping you busy and will succumb to some heavy addiction(s) (overeating, video games, porn, hard drugs, etc) to just kill the time that most people have filled with work, family, and friends. You also will either start to with drawl from public or become very bitter and even violent because the reminders of what you missed will be peppered by all the people around you and that will not sit well with your decaying mind that knows it is over for you and those experiences can never truly happen to you now. No, life doesn't get better at that point, at best it can get stable with all those responsibilities that a lover, children and/or work brings, at worse you will be in a nightmarish hell that is you reliving your past (either from it's failures or rose tent glasses) to then be looking to the empty void that is your future asking yourself when you'll have the courage to just end it.

Nothing, of course. Anon posed the question "why not hit 27 year old girls?" and I simply provided an answer as to why I wouldn't, I'm simply not attracted to them due to the stated reasons. Whether they're more experienced, mature, intelligent than myself is irrelevant. Rest assured I have no doubts there are 10 year olds out there who are both smarter and have experienced more of the world than both you and me but that's a different matter. Nor do I have any issues with talking to or hanging out with younger people, but I'm not going to hit on them k, it just doesn't appeal.
