I was born into wealth but I don't really do anything much with it. I invest most of it because I actually enjoy trading securities, my biggest spending habit is expensive whisky, and even that comes to barely more than 2k a month.

Rich people develop a complex early on in their life that helps them feel justified in their money even at the age of 12; by then they will have felt they have earned the money themselves. they use a thick mental bubble to not have any perspective outside of their lifestyle.

nobody feels anything. you can't just dump money on their lap and expect everything to work out. people who are poor are simply bad with money. the people who are in dire straits aren't going to sort their entire lives out if you dump $100 on their lap. even paying for their entire college education isn't a guarantee they will live better.

and even then, how many poor people are there? you think op is even rich enough for that? if he dropped 1 million on paying for the college education for poor people, and each tuition and course costs 50,000 in the end (this is the american standard for college) he would only have enough for 20 people.
