Dude, I've been wanting to get in on this so badly. I've been doing Amazon mTurk, and I can type really fast, so I've been cranking out a lot of tasks. Unfortunately, I can only do about 100 tasks per day for the first 10 days, which adds up to about 10 dollars a day -- but once I get over that hump, I should be able to pull 50 or 60 bucks a day.

If you're having trouble finding work on these website, make an mTurk account. Not everybody gets cleared to make an account, and the review process takes a few days. Also, the review process is totally arbitrary. But the acceptance rate is pretty high, and you should be able to get in. Once you're in, search for Crowdsurf jobs, or just search for "transcription". You can expect about 6 dollars per hour, from my experience, but also think about the fact that you don't have to burn gasoline to get to work, or deal with other costs of having to travel to a job. It's basically minimum wage.

I'm a college kid, and I had surgery on my back this summer. My doctor won't let me work. Transcription is the only way for me to make somewhat decent cash this summer, and it's worked out really well. Hope it works for you, too, desu
