But he's basically the American dream - he grew up dirt poor and had a terrifying family life but worked his way up to the middle class. He's autistic as fuck. Never really talked to me, only pretended to by making me answer questions, when I reacted negatively he blamed me for not talking to him. I feel bad for my mother, she is really unhappy in life. He is a business owner and can cope alright outside of the family, but I figure no one likes him anyway: he and my mother have no good friends and don't have any people coming over except my mother's sister and her husband.
