Here's a track I made with a friend purely instrumental tell me what you think
https://youtu.be/CD8FaeYPk9o
I like the track, very relaxing.
Realized today that it'd been a while since I sketched so I tried to fill a page up with caricatures from memory alone.

I paint miniature figures, do 3D animation and am doing a first draft of a novel.
Normally I draw ahegao but this one scribble is better than anything else I've done
Here's a headless man I drew. Trying to finish a few larger pieces this week.
>>38618567
For some reason it seems like the head's not being carried around and more like it's floating or has grown out of the chest.
>>38618567
Reminds me of spongebob
>>38618520
You should color this, it'll hammer in the Garfield part.
r9k rap guy here posting for creativity and shit.

>>38618213
It was a nice song, OP. I'd probably listen to a better-recorded and mixed version of it while walking.
>>38618567
This is hilarious. It reminds me of Groo the Barbarian or something. You gave that hideous face a lot of personality.
I sit in my bedroom and rap. IDK how I would feel about posting the rap music made in my bedroom on /r9k./
>>38618213
something i just finished. messing around with pixel art.
>>38618611
Yeah it's a problem when you draw straight ahead in pen. I try to plan for things in advanced but not everything is a success. It's just a warm-up so I try not to be too critical.
>>38618671
I normally hate anything that remotely feels like novelty music because I'm a humorless bastard, but I enjoyed this. Any time you want some free beats I got you, anon.
>>38618691
This feels very much like a character in the making to me. Like in 2 years I could see a thread of this girl being celebrated as something-tan or something-chan.
>>38618767
Ahaha thanks. Its a self portrait.
>>38618792
You should add a body, give her a distinctive outfit, and immortalize yourself without telling other people it's a you.
>>38618213
A lot of these above are pretty neat.
I sometimes draw mspaint drawings for a groupchat of my normie and chad friends (its guys only). We do a thing where we draw out recent events/jokes/roasts.
Heres a template of basic male and female characters(they are styled after myself and my oneitis and to make different people I make variations to the base designs). its a sort of strange pixel but not pixel artsyle I like.
>>38619048
So do you use these as emojis, or pepper them throughout a story you're telling about something that happened?
>>38619118
Neither, they're used as characters in the actual story (sort of like a comic, except it sometimes has only 1 panel)
I somehow managed to get a review for my album recently. Pretty sure that means this is my creative peak and it's all downhill from here.

Also the guys channel is pretty great. He browses /mu/ too, so check him out if you're looking for some cool music reviews.
>>38618470
Thanks man that is some cool sketches there
>>38618880
hey man hows this originalll
>>38619779
Now draw her naked.
>>38619779
I'll give that a "Would Fuck" out of a possible "Would Fuck" points
adding text just in case
dose anybody on /r9k/ work in the creative industry ?
I'm an industrial designer. I studied at a university of arts and all and do lots of weird artsy stuff.
I showed stuff in galleries and had my work published in a book and a few magazines.
I still hate people.
FUCKING STOOOOOP, IT'S BAD ENOUGH THAT I DON'T HAVE ANY HOBBIES, STOP POURING SALT ON THE WOUND
>>38619779
Nice homestuck character.
>>38620157
Get a hobby you fucking tard.
>my normie friend and I are writing a superhero comic but I'm not the artist and I don't want to post scripts that someone might rip off
>>38618213
It's a nice mellow track OP. I make trap beats, check out my soundcloud if you want.

Currently working on a project with someone, haven't uploaded anything for a month.
>>38620099
I've had my comics published as little local 'zines and also in a few national anthologies, get the occasional commission, been in a number of group gallery shows, and currently work as a face painter for festivals and parties.
I like it, working with kids is pretty fun.

Was going to put an album out this year but I haven't even been able to convince my family members to listen to these songs FOR FREE. All the plays are from shopping it around the net. Why bother when the people who "care about me" the most won't even give me the time of day?

>literally be Paul Street
>don't expect people to turn on you
I draw a lot on sketchtoy. Here's a poorly recorded gif of something I made: http://sketchtoy.com/67297846

>>38620257
Man this is some of the best stuff I've seen linked in these threads good work dude actually really enjoy the feel of your music
>Been playing guitar since 2011
>Lost a lot of passion for it but occasionally still play it.
I need to get back in a band or rebuild the confidence to think I can be a musician. This is what I do for fun now.

>>38620257
The guitar in High time is awesome as well dude OP here again reminds me of people are strange by the doors
>>38620257
Do you use a microphone to record your voice? What software do you use?
I'm looking to get into making songs with my electric guitar but I have no idea how to do it. Thinking of buying an 8 track

This anon here. I draw pics too. I do pen and paper better but I usually keep them to myself. Me on right.
I make comic books, but i don't think that they have any worth, or will be popular enough, that I will be able to make a living out of them.
>>38620532
I laughed.
I like the weird shading going on with their clothes, draws the eye in.
>>38620340
Haha thanks man, I'm glad you like the beats. I use FL Studio 12, I have been learning how to mix my 808s properly in the last month and a few other things.
>>38620532
look at some contemporary illustrators.
there's some good stuff going on in that naive weirdness of your drawings.
embrace that.

I'm the singer for a couple punk bands

Any feedback appreciated, we've been on hiatus since the last releases but recently got a new drummer and are getting back it. Thinking of incorporating synth into Subhuman Filth
>>38620714
Maybe I should pursue it, the problem is, with no instant gratification it's hard to keep going.
Pic is my 3rd drawing I ever did, about two-three years ago, believe it or not. After not getting deviantarts preverted users views I gave it up after this one.
We are the underground lads
Nice sharing so far
>>38619430
Nice work, anon. I particularly liked Little Hands.
>>38621317
Thanks! I'm just happy people like any of it.
>>38620298

FUUUUUCK
>>38620298
>>38621543
Haha never saw it man that's some funny puns
>>38620472
Unironically the style of video that I want to make.
Not so much the content but the form. Shitty little puppets and handmade background because I don't have anyone in real life to shoot videos with.
>>38620157
You could draw rly shitty like i do. Its kinds fun
What robots think about this one?
>>38620819
Damn i like your drawing
You got more?
>>38622089
that was pretty depressing mate
>>38618213
This song is way better than I thought it would be, i love the lo-fi sound, i love the counting and love the noice when you turn the recording off. Very calm and "dreamy" song.
>>38622152
thanks dude!
be sure to like and subscribe
>>38622098
Yeah, about two more
>>38622177

I write a lot of material but I'm slowly trying to get myself into actually being able to do something with it as well.
Yesterday I also wrote pic related as a small two-person routine inspired by old vaudeville comedy bits (and Abbot and Costello in particular).
It's about fifty years too late but I still like it. It needs more content though, it's still a half-finished bit.
i write pretty lame poetry and then post it on tumblr even though no one ever looks at it, pic related
>>38622098
And the last one
>>38622416
That wasn't lame
>>38622280
