Is the ketogenic diet worth it, /r9k/?
Which is better?
Ketogenic diet or Intermittent fasting?
Ketogenic diet:

Intermittent fasting:

Can't find ajcn on the Master Journal List so this might not count, so here's two comment articles from ncbi:

Keto diet affects what you eat.
IF affects when you eat.
You could do both.

Would I die?
You can drink lactose free milk btw.
Keto has worked pretty well for me desu. Helped cut out a lot of snacking too, cause they all had so many carbs. Protein just makes you feel full a lot longer.
I'm not die hard with it though, but I try to stay under 50ish grams which is pretty easy. Dinner is really the only meal I have to think about. Lost about 20 lbs since June, but I was also sick and was on antibiotics so I think that made me lose some weight too.
I lost 30 pounds doing fasted cardio, definitely works.
30min workout each day
>jump rope (dont have to leave my room)
>freeweight excersise
Fasting
>eat only from 8-12pm
I just watch out for carbs and started eating only when I got hungry. I used to eat for the hell of it.
Low carbs and eating when necessary had helped me lose about 7 pounds in a month. Probably not healthy but I was getting fat.
