Pay attention. Its basic but it is also important. So many fuckers make it through that shouldnt imo. Beyond that, learn to blend and avoid conflict. Spend time on the craft and not the drama. Someone told me when I arrived early that morning that it is all a game and to win you make through on the first go; the "game" idea is really accurate but you need to learn the rules. Be humble but ready to try, never volunteer until everyone does, never lie or tell half truthes, dont buy ahit you dont absolutely need, be average at PT even if you can do better but if you suck aim for average. Above all else, learn to solder; learn to fight well and fire a weapon, learn how to be outdoors for long periods of time and embrace the suck. Learn to enjoy being pushed around. The tolerance you learn there can define the rest of your life. Good luck
