I think some respect has to be given to them though. They claimed a nation, heavily militarized it, and allowed their people to prosper by only looking at the interests of there own.

While I am sympathetic to the Palestinian cause, Israelis worked incredibly hard to create there nation. Look at picture from the 40s-60s about revitalization projects in the Negev deserts as well. They essential turned nothing into prosperous and fruitful land.

When you look at it, they are only doing what most of us want our politicians and nations to do. It has to be respected how far they have come, even if you know how they did it.
