I've only done it once, although I've come close to doing it with a number of people at a particularly shitty point in their lives. Used to talk to this guy online, claiming I was his friend. Never really got a chance to know much about him, anime avatar fag. Would always be toxically negative, and spend all of his time online getting pity from strangers on the internet. I spoke with him for a few weeks, trying to listen to him and offer whatever support I would be able to from the internet, but eventually I got sick of his shit. He only gave a damn about the attention I would potentially give him, rather than me, but would still guilt me into being around to have one-sided, depressing conversations. It didn't seem like talking to him was helping him in any way, either. After realising that I couldn't help him, and that I was too burnt-out to take responsibility for him, I bluntly asked what he was getting out of the conversations and what the point of it was, and then blocked his ass.

Overall, it was kind of dramatic, and probably could have been handled better.

I would have to agree with your reading. Pretty much you described, I seem drawn to masculine women who have a certain drive, but it feels like their lack of sensitivity makes it worthless. As you said, I view myself quite pessimistically, I rely on others to see the good in me if it even exists. You do make sense with the shared activities, otherwise it would feel like a lacking connection.

My childhood was rather stressful indeed and I had a lot of conflicts with control. At some point during my early childhood I developed my OCD, I know it originates back to a young age even if it wasn't as severe.

You are quite right about what I do, I immerse myself in activities to often escape, but what I really desire is to share enjoyment with others. My biggest problem is often that others don't wish to commit to the journey or make the journey feel like it was worthless.

I wouldn't say it's "normal', but ISxPs have tertiary Ni, which if well-developed or they're not engaging their secondary function (Se), can manifest as a either a healthy concern for the future, or an unhealthy, nearly obsessive one, respectively.

I always thought I was (slightly) more T than F...

The only 'F' thing about me, is that I'm kinda subjective (even tho I think objectivity is better) and I don't think of the pros and the cons : when I want to do something, I do it.

Appart from that, I don't give two fucks about other people, I think justice is more important than compassion, empathy and I won't let the others influence me, my ideas and choices because I think it can threaten me and my goals.

-more subjective than objective, as I said. I take decisions because 'fuck it, I want to do so'

I think I'm kinda close to intuition ("INTPs tend to be more abstract than concrete. They focus their attention on the big picture rather than the details, and on future possibilities rather than immediate realities") but in a more 'concrete' way and I think I'm kinda close to feeling ("ISFPs tend to value personal considerations above objective criteria. When making decisions, they often give more weight to social implications than to logic") but I think objectivity is better, I think reason>hurting other people feelings and I'm kinda selfish and self-centered.

I don't have a problem getting a date. The problem is keeping them around. No one wants to deal with my mental problems and I don't blame them. Ehh depends on your definition of crave. But yes. I crave it. Its hard to function alone. I quite literally need someone else in my life to be happy. Even if its online and I know it will never go anywhere and will fizzle in a few months. I'm extremely clingy and needy I need someone I can focus on and some one who focuses on me just as much. I actually go a little crazy if they aren't giving me attention ending with me completely shutting down mentally and just siting / laying there for hours until whatever is fucked up in my head decides its been long enough and lets me human again.

Really remarkable, how common INTP is here, it's also very common on /Pol/ and even more on /lit/. As fellow INTP I can relate to the feeling of being surrounded by people, who have little Knowledge about the world in general. It's often really basic stuff, which even makes students and Professors wonder, how somebody could know x/y/z or come up with a solid conclusion that fast.

I am completely self sufficient. In fact apparently I am way ahead of the curve. I'm 25 and starting with no family help or inheritance I've completely put myself through college and I'm already building up investments to make me money long term for retirement.

I don't need someone to control my life I can do that just fine. I just need someone that validates? me if that's the right word. Someone that seeks out my attention and wants it. Someone who wants me to do everything possible with them. If they need to run to the store I want to go with them just for the simple fact of being with them. If they want to watch T.V. Thats exactly my problem. I warn people straight up once it starts getting more serious and I often get "I love clingy guys!" But they never really understand what I really mean and what they are getting themselves into. There is a reason I call it mental problems because it is. I still have hope though. There has to be SOMEONE out there that wants me. How do i optimize my life?

My parents want me to become a doctor but i keep fucking up school because i am not smart enough. I really do not want to shit on what my father gave me (a better life and whatnot) to do something for me.

Also, i spend hours in my own head creating daydreaming these scenarios where i'm a martryr of some sort.
