Because nothing happens. It's slow as fuck, the mc says like three words in the first 6 episodes, the rest are just uhh uhmm hmm grunts basically. The characters are like 11 years old so they're supposed to be really awkward and all that shit but it's just not interesting to watch, at all. The animation is ridiculously bad as well. If you want romance then watch something else, this show is very over rated.
