it's been 10 years since i've last had a real life friend

What happened?

My friends left me when I got sick long term. It feels weird not getting closure from them.

It's been a while for me too, but I had very few to begin with.

8 years for me. they all left when i got hit with schizophrenia.

Every once in a while I make a "friend" and as soon as it's not comfortable for them they flake on me. I'm so tired.

And yet I spent all of today doing nothing alone and wishing I'd have friends to play board games with.

My last real friend was 9 or 10, we were like brothers but as we got older we got other friends.
I am now 18 and at college but still think about him, I am straight but felt I sort of loved him in a romantic way but not physical. Its really weird
