anyone else a degenerate and addicted to weed?
i can't help it, i smoke it almost every day now to cope with the fact that my life is kinda shit. it makes me happy and less stressed and i've been a lot more relaxed. ever since i smoked it i've just been a happier person. even when i have to take a month and a half break from it, i was still a lot more positive thinking during it, and i wasn't even bothered by not having any, although i did miss it sometimes. weed is hard to find here so usually i'll get an ounce and it will last me a month or two, then i'll be all out for another month because i can't find any.
i'm now a very relaxed person, able to have conversations with people, and make friends. i even got invited out with a group and spent 3 hours with them this weekend. and they're not even stoners. they don't know i smoke. I met them from work.
I do try to keep it on the downlow, i don't really talk about it ever and i never smoke and go to work or even drive after.
anyway i went from borderline killing myself from depression and loneliness to having a job and friends because weed made me a little happier and relaxed.

I wouldn't say I'm addicted, but I definitely abuse it which is just as dangerous. Good on you for making new relationships. I've been in my room playing StarCraft 2 for three days high as hell because I choose to only be close to my family nowadays. While I'm definitely more relaxed; I genuinely don't have the patience for most people anymore which may have just been something that's persisted with my temperament. I used to be suicidal too, but then I realized that wherever I am, whatever 'space' (vacuum/nothingness) is, I have no control over it even if I think I do.

I became immediately psychologically addicted to it upon trying it. Everything life has to offer is dull to me, and it's been that way for so many years, so it's no wonder I'd get addicted after being able to finally feel enjoyment from just inhaling some smoke. It certainly hasn't made me a more happy or relaxed person though, it simply provides a few hours of relief at the end of the day.

i'd get high and just start meditating and shit honestly. i've gotten so high to where i have out of body experiences and i just think deeply about everything it's strange. i've done a lot of research into psychedelics like lsd, shrooms and dmt.
i feel like marijuana kinda is a gateway drug since now i want to try all these others, but from what i can tell they're not dangerous drugs. I started doing a lot of research on them and i guess i'm just trying to find a more "zen" state i suppose.

I've done all of those before, and my experiences have all been pleasant for the most part. Just have trip-sitter who will be free & with you until you finally pass out.
And what isn't a gateway drug? After your first beer you want to try a shot.
