Does anyone else really dislike having fixed schedules and times within which you have to get things done? I hate it when someone tells me to do x task in x amount of time, or when they tell me to stop being so messy and unstructured. I like doing things on the spur of the moment and I usually never like to make plans for most things. Anyone else feel the same? I like having spontaneity rather than slaving myself to a fixed task on a fixed timeframe.

This will trigger the autists on the board.
I hate having a scheduled myself. I've been a NEET for 20 years and I'm currently studying and I dislike having to go to classes etc at a specific time.

On the contrary, a semblance of direction would do some of the losers on this board some good.

huh. that's interesting because I'm am aspie myself. I guess autismos and aspies dislike different things
I can't make myself fall asleep for shit, so I often dislike scheduling because of the effects of that. But otherwise, I don't mind it too much.

but I definitely agree with you. Almost anything that prevents me from doing what I actually feel like doing feels like a direct and malevolent intrusion on my own free will and well being and it upsets me a lot when I have to do things I could do at any later time.

I feel. I never make myself fall asleep. I've grown accustomed to just falling asleep when I can feel it, like when I notice my eyes start to close slightly or when I feel weak as if I want to sleep. Simply laying in bed does not make me tired in the slightest.
