What do you think Hell is actually like?
>>38552559
what's the point in visualizing something I already live
>>38552591
This. We're already in Hell. It's not a place, it's a state of being.
>>38552559
Total obliteration and non-awareness just as atheists believe death is. That's what separation from God is. Since God permeates the universe, separation from him is complete spiritual non-existence.
How do you like that one?
my dark room when i got to sleep at night

Sleeping next to this guy.
You're actually on it

I don't actually believe this either. It's just an interesting thought I had a couple weeks ago.
My identity is so cool and unique, and I was so lucky to land it that this life better not be all there exists for me (or anyone else for that matter). I just got to put my faith in Jah, I suppose. I have faith and love in my heart, and I'll sing and praise his name until I drop dead.
This is making me sad, bros ;_;
This is why I want to love so passionately.

If you listen to neuroscience though, they make it sound like we're all a bunch of automatons. God, I hate those cunts.
Hell is being 26 years old and spending your saturday day off hunched over a computer screen watching other people live their lives, wondering where it all went wrong, and having no clue how to "fix" it.
>>38552626
If belief in God brings you comfort, anon, I like that one just fine...even though I don't share that belief.

Being at work. Dealing with customers.

I need to take some MDMA with some people who care about me and look them in the eyes and have a good cry. This life can't be all there is.

You're actually in hell right now, this reality is so ugly because it's a realm for advancement through learning through experiencing and suffering is a type of experience.
Probably listening to my whore sister talk for infinity

Checked, and witnessed. I've been coming around to the whole reincarnation/Source/3D reality being a training ground for individuated souls that sprang out from Source stuff lately too.
>>38553408
Me too but I've also been smoking a fuck ton of weed, but seriously I am pretty sure I have it figured out. Gotta live life and make mistakes and suffer for your soul to go on to the next life. Gotta learn from your mistakes.
>>38552591
fpbp also hell isnt real it was invented to pull church shekels
>>38552559
Banned from 4chan for eternity and forced to wage slave and come home to Chad and your oneitis fucking
>>38553467
>learn from your mistakes
This is the key. It requires ruthless honesty with yourself, though.

Now I'm all upset ;_;
I'm a very sensitive boy. The girl who lands me needs to be understanding of this.
>>38552559
An eternal torment by fire, filled with cacophonous sounds, and granulated mash up of colors for sight.
>>38553056
This is my private life
Ive got no friends to fear
I've got no problems no cross to bear
If you can find me
Can you get me out of here
I think people can get used to practically anything with enough time, so I don't think Hell exists. Infinite, immortal torment is impossible, the mind would just get used to it.
>>38553960
Is this true though? Surely you can't build up a tolerance to torture?
>>38553960
i'd guess you'd break up the monotony of tortures with occasional niceness, maybe long breaks of it, so that the torment can renew with regrown sensitivity
or erase the memories of torture occasionally
basically the same idea
>>38552559
unending
>>38552559
The western idea of what Hell is like is completely wrong. It makes no sense and doesn't align with what God would do.The Eastern Orthodox church has it figured out. They argue that Heaven and hell is the same place, but that if you loved God you would enjoy it as you get to spend eternity with him, and if you didn't love God, you would hate it as you would feel an eternity of regret.
what makes you think our biology is equipped to handle an afterlife whatsoever?
>>38552559
>What do you think hell looks like?
look around yourself
>>38552626
Sounds perfect to me. I'd rather oblivion than spend a maddening eternity in heaven.
>>38552559
Every second is permeated with screams of a thousand tortured infants.
>>38554488
That's stupid as fuck. I'm an atheist but only because there's not really any proof. But it if I were to wake up in heaven tomorrow with god greeting me I'd just say "oh sorry mate but you've got to admit there wasn't really any proof" and god being the reasonable man I assume any omnipotent being would be would say "fair enough haha, can't blame you there". I'd then enjoy my eternity with my new best bud.
>>38552559
it's portrayed unfairly

We're posting in it.

>You've got to admit there wasn't really any proof
>And god being the reasonable man I assume any omnipotent being would be would say...
Here we have an example of the kind of myopic thinking most atheists exhibit. If belief in God was based on proof of God's existence, belief in God would be as trivial as belief that apples, or horses, or houses exist. It's not hard to live by the rules the omnipotent creator has set out for you if you know that he exists. I would say it's almost mandatory, which is even worse. If God made itself known to the world, it would remove any element of free will in human decision making, because everyone would know that they'd go to Hell/Heaven.
>>38555364
yes, yes. myopic thinking.
modelling the Creator after yourself. yeah the Creator probably is nothing at all like the Human mind. if anything, your entire belief in a Creator is myopic. The Creator probably exists in 30 dimensions at once, what makes you think you could possibly interpret his shit into a written text interpreted by goat herders 15000-2000 years ago.
