its healthier than living alone.
it's cheaper and occupies less space in nature
It's just white American culture. In most other cultures, there's nothing wrong with living with your mother into your 20s, even later in some instances. White American families just aren't very close and kids tend to go off to college when they're 18, so if you live with your parents past that age, they think there's something wrong with you.

Nuclear family fucked up everything. Especially in Canada families used to live together indefinitely.

I live in Sweden and it's fucking impossible to get an apartment in the largest cities unless you have a high enough salary to afford buying an apartment instead of renting it which leads to a lot of people in their 20s still living at home. Doesn't help the government thought taking in hundreds of thousands extra people would solve the situation...

>be American
>get thrown out as soon as you're 18

>be European
>stay with your parents
>go to college
>parents support you financially with the small payments
>study well without wageslaving yourself
Amercians can't be THIS dumb, right?
its actually quite normal in the uk to live with parents till you're 30 because of the housing market situation. if you get along with your parents and other siblings theres no reason you have to move out, unless they want you to. i'm 20 and live with my mum and siblings and i enjoy it. don't plan on moving out till my late 20s
