This. It takes longer and you often have to do some awkward angles to get all the hair the same length.

It's worth it for me because I sitting in a hairdressers is just the number one anxiety nightmare for me. The thought of them asking me questions and normie discussion just makes the whole situation awkward.

I tend to use the grade 4 guard because I look like a cancer patient if I go any shorter for a buzz cut. My only complaints are it takes too long and the clippers get really hot after ten minutes of use. I would love to just be able to deal with being in the hairdressers because cutting your own hair just takes ages.

I'm going to have to put my hair in a pony tail at work soon and I really don't to do that but I also really don't want to get a hair cut.

It sucks cause my barber is a great guy, he really is, but we used to be close at once and now I've been busy with life/regressed back to an anti-social behavior and this dude is always like "oh man we should hang out and maybe play some ps3 like old times!" like yeah i love you bro but it's not like that anymore :(
