I'm a proposal coordinator which is kind of worse.

>Piece business proposals together piece by piece, every aspect including: financial, technical, scheduling, etc.
>Have to babysit the engineers to get me information when I need it since they'll never do it promptly on my own
>Boss already bitching at my that I'm too timid and need to be more aggressive
>Know I'm out the door if I don't change shit up soon

sysadmin here. it's a step up from service desk because at least you don't have to deal with people, but honestly not it's that much better

I went to school for this shit too. Already taking classes again while working to do something else because I hate helpdesk so much.
