In elementary school I tested in the 120's. Now, many years later, I test at 112.

However, I've got way too many psychiatric issues to have benefited much from being slightly above average in IQ. I know a lot of people who are a lot dumber but a lot happier and more functional.

Most online tests aren't very long. I did that one in around thirty minutes, whereas professional tests take longer. It also allowed the use of a pen and paper and a calculator (though I didn't use them), which doesn't happen when you take a test with a psychologist.
As for the higher results, it's just an impression I have.

Dropped out of the best medical college of my country I got in with scholarship because with each passing day there, i was reminded how evil doctors are, and it disgusted me.
Went NEET for a year and then got into CS, scored the highest of everyone and got a scholarship from the prime minister of my country.
Got a job in the final semester of college.

It's a small country in Eastern Europe but the uni ranks top 2% worldwide and its works are top 1% most cited so not exactly Oxford but still bretty gud.

The test was called "academic test" and its purpose was to find out if the person has the capabilities required to basically function at an academic level or not. It had mathematics, pattern recognition, academic text comprehension, logic, a lil bit of semantics and 3d thinking.

It was fairly hard desu. 150 questions and 3 hours.

Those that failed the test were weeded out. Those that performed mediocre went on to the "specialty test" which focused on knowledge relevant to the field you applied to and an interview. Those who performed well skipped and were passed immediately.

117 after being diagnosed with shizophrenia. I did the official test in the loony bin while I was on heavy medication that made me feel like a dumb potatoe.

Even legally insane and drugged up to my eyeballs my iq is still a standard deviation above the norm. I need 15 seconds during verbal communication to formulate a response if someone asks me a basic question because of the fucking drugs, and still the average person is more of a retard than me.
I cannot do basic arithmatic in my head anylonger, and still I stand above the average tard.

I had to take the wais-iv as part of neuropsych testing for autism and that was the result. Turns out i am autistic and the psychiatrist explained to me that my unusual performance on the iq test was one of the factors of my eventual diagnosis. Apparently autistic people don't score consistently in the way neurotypical people do on those tests. Meaning autistic people tend to score very high on some components and very low on others. That was how i scored on the test. I had 98th percentile score on a couple parts and something like 10th or 5th percentile on others. All over the place.

Just a caution for those reporting results from online tests: i have taken a couple of those online things and scored 130+. The wais-iv conducted by a tester in person was much longer and a lot harder.
