I did something stupid like this when I was a teen.

My friend and his family moved away, and we had all basically grown up in this house.

A single guy moved in and one day me and my other friend were just sitting in our yard and we watched him leave.

I can't remember what our idea was but we decided to go up to the house and we tried the door and it was open and we went in.

It was weird just being in that house that we had known as our friend's house for so long, and now everything was different inside.

We went into his room and the guy just had a mattress on the floor and we found a gun case and played with his gun for a little bit.

Then we left and on the way out he had a group of bananas sitting on the counter, there were 5 of them and I took one just b/c I thought it was funny, like it would be mysterious to him where the 5th banana went.

So we had no malicious intention we were just incredibly stupid and exploratory. It's weird to think that we could easily have been killed doing something like that, like if he had a roommate or something or if he came back while we were still there.
