Depends, from
The perspective of someone who takes Further mathematics.
1) Always practise doesn't matter if you're smart or dumb practise will make you more familiar with the topic at hand
2) try to practise/perfect individual techniques one at a time, I.e practise product rule for differentiation first then move on to chain rule, don't interchange them.
3) Memorize the formulas I find they are not provided in the formula sheet
4) Be very familiar with how conditions/requirements in a question can affect how you answer or approach the question.
5) Try and practise visualizng (especially important for graph questions)

Read the text book and ask the professor what sections you need to study or what type of questions can you find on the test. Do all of the questions and make sure to remember the name of the techniques

Khan academy. That shit is awesome. Its free too. They have videos on a HUGE variety of subjects, practice questions, tests to reinforce what you learned. Buy a binder and take notes. Thats what ive been doing.

I miss math. It was secretly my favorite subject in high school and early in college. But now I'm far enough into my cs degree that I have no more math classes required to take. I would have been a math major if there were any jobs available.
