why do norms gets so uncomfortable and decide they don't like someone if there is even 5 seconds of silence, instead of constant shallow chatter?

also why do they like cafes and resteraunts where the music is so fucking loud you can't even order your food without shouting and repeating things to get through the noise. let alone focus and concentrate on anything.
