Just watched the new trailer you're talking about and I'm disappointed, the first trailer seemed like it might make for a decent movie but this second one shows what we're really in for, generic garbage.
I made the mistake of thinking the GiTS movie would be alright from the trailers, I won't be making that mistake again, Hollywood simply doesn't know how to do good cyberpunk anymore.

Not just cyberpunk, more like depth of plot or meaning. These sequels we are getting are a standard formula where the action is the most important part of the film and they neglect the reasons the previous film was acclaimed.

I doubt it. Probably the same case with the Drive and the OGF trailer: the studio put every scene together who looks at least a bit like action and at the end there is barely action in it.
Also Gosling is in this movie, he's not really an action guy.
