I have a very rare opportunity to seize a one of a kind piece of history. I won't say anymore, but I've verified it's authenticity.
I want to hang it on my wall, I don't really have guests anyway, and it's value may go up, even if it's people who just want to buy it so they can destroy it.
I think I might put the communist manifesto book I have subtly on the shelf below it so if anyone asks if I am a Nazi, I can point to the book and ask them if that means I am a communist. Or ask them if I can be both at the same time.
Anyway, I mean, if I wanted to have a nazi flag I would already have one there's nothing stopping me, but I really am interested in this solely for it's uniqueness. But no one believes me about my porn magazine collection I have for the same reason. Vintage porn mags are fascinating.
get it as a relic, don't brandish it or else you might get fined or some dumbshit like that

Just buy it, don't worry about normies. If they try destroy it when your bring them into your home, you can pummel them to a pulp. You have your reasons, and as far as anyone is concerned its no one's business.

brandish it? It's a flag, not a gun.
I think people really overestimate how much damage a swastika can actually do.

Well there's a few problems. Chain of custody and the notoriety of the flag may make it hard to purchase in secret.
It's only really valuable if I can prove it is what I say it is. I might need the nazis selling it to me swear an affadavit of authenticity.
But why would anyone believe I was the buyer? If I have guests over and I explain what this item means, how would I prove I was the actual buyer and not some stupid larper?
hmm
