This is pretty much the only way to tell, unless you have a great understanding of where your ancestors came from.

look at your family members from both sides
my mom's family is well known for not having hairy men (no beard at all, mustache if anything)
meanwhile my dad's side, they all are super hairy
I've got a quite nice beard and mustache, it started growing when I was 17 years old, 4 years later it got a lot better.
