Getting help

Pills, likely have to fill out a form with a number on 1 to 10 answers on how you're feeling. You'll also be asked if you feel like you're likely to put yourself in danger. If you don't want to be dragged to a looney bin, say you feel you can keep yourself safe

Unless you want to get forcibly committed (with a large bill and missing 3 days of work) DO NOT indicate that you could harm yourself or others.

Just say you feel really sad, and that it's hard sometimes to get out of bed etc., but never use the S-word.

>don't want to kill myself all the time but also can't feel anything anymore
>stopped taking them and stopped seeking help

Everyone's results with professional help is different, my experience made me want to never seek it again.

This. Was sent to 3 different clinics, put on lithium and even had to go see a fucking hypnotherapist. Didn't do jack shit except waste parent's money. Never again.

Lithium used to be available over the counter; it was even added to food, just like caffeine.

Remember 7-up? the "up" referred to the "mood lift" because it had lithium in it.

Then doctors realized how much money they could make by acting as gatekeepers, and stopping people from self-medicating.
