Get a dog, they make for much better pets.

I'm allergic to cats and dogs but I still have both.

Just don't purposely rub your eyes and sinuses near their fur/saliva and over time they'll become less and less affective to your symptoms.

Get a Siberian breed cat, they are big n fluffy but also hypoallergenic cuz they produce less of the chemical in the dandruff that triggers allergies in people or something.
My mom is allergic to cats and is fine around mine.
