what would happen if you sprinted head first into a brick wall as fast as you could starting like 30 feet away? broke neck?
>>38401220
depends on how fast you're running
>>38401220
Lots of pain, potentially. But your brain has mechanisms that will stop your body before its too late
>>38401220
Death is pretty likely.

I dunno about a blow to the back of the head, or how fast you could realistically go running backwards. People get concussed all the time and break their necks falling backwards, so that's a possibility. Definitely hospital-territory if you're realling hauling ass and hit the right spot.

Why does the brain not stop a football player before he helmet to helmet hits a guy?
>>38401220
Concussion/Contusion, severe pain.
The skull is pretty thick, I doubt you can run fast enough to hit it with enough force that to fracture it.

Adrenaline, and the fact that he knows he's wearing a helmet.
