Alright robots I need help. My cousin left me his appartment for the night as he's out of town and I needed a place to crash. Problem is his door, one of those top to bottom window doors, doesn't seem to close by key from the inside. Is that normal? I'd call him, but I already made a sperg of myself failing to find the key he left me.
I always had old fashion padlock doors and this new stuff is alien to me. Does the door autolock? Am I supposed to push the knob upward? The key fits but does nothing else from the inside. Halp!

Post pic you autist nobody knows what you're talking about

So the door is glass? Like the other anon suggested, you might wanna post a pic of the door or at least the doorknob/handle on the inside.
If it's an apartment, it may just stay "locked" all the time. So when you leave, you just have to take the key with you and you're good.

Nevermind, I got it. It was one of those knobs you had to fiddle with while inserting the key. Damn technology, I juat hope I can get it open again.
