I have been playing the remake of the first 3 crash bandicoot games. I wish I knew it was coming out because I replayed every crash games last year so remembered it too much to get the nostalgia kick which is the main appeal of replaying an old game, but I guess I got it more because I played the actual ps1 versions instead of HD shit, I like old games having achievements, other than that I just prefer games as they were, they don't need to be updated, just re-released. P.S. Fuck, crash 1 is hard as shit.

I never understood why groundhog day is meant to be a horror concept, being stuck in the same day over and over, like we aren't anyway. The guy can do what ever he wants and that's a bad thing? I could complete contra today, I could complete castlevania tomorrow, I could complete mario 3 the day after. I guess it sucks because he would lose his save on final fantasy and can't do that in 1 sitting but every day is as different as you make it, even in the movie it was, so what is the problem, what makes reliving tuesday any different from working 5 days a week, you can watch a different movie every day, play a new game every day, I guess the movie was made pre internet and in a time people didn't have easy access to everything the world offers but still, how is it worse than the routine of every day life?

Battle chess is probably the best chess game ever made, from the amiga or commador. star wars chess is a close second, it's basically battle chess but with star wars characters killing each other, it's awesome.

I actually knew all this shit but people on /v/ flipped their shit so I guess they didn't play games as much as I did and do everything they had to offer, I replayed just about every game ever made each time trying to do everything possible so very little stays hidden to me.

I'm going to start playing pinball FX, the official game of /rose/. I don't think anons playing counterstrike any more which you could say was the first official game of /rose., it should be garrys mod, that's a great community game, we could have made a 3D rose and cloned her 100 times amd sat her at the cinema to watch porn and meme videos.

i think i have permanent psychological damage from playing silent hill. i remember hearing the developers consulted psychologists on how to fuck with people through the music, camera angles, ambience etc.

Another silent hill fact: the reason it's full of fog is because the ps1 had shit capabilities, they couldn't render long distance views, the fog allowed them a way to show a long distance without having to render what you see in that distance. To this day that trope is still used, open world games like GTA will show you clouds and fog when you stand on top of buildings because the game couldn't handle a render of a full open world.

I cried like a bitch at life is strange, no game affected me like this did, I like that is is getting a prequel but as expected rachel looks like a cunt, it sucks because the base game makes you do everything out of love of rachel, now you meet her and she doesn't live up to being a good person it makes you hate her, so your motivation for the last game is lost.
