Lego is pretty great, but I think that may be a cop out.
So as in like a toy-toy, probably Micro Machines. For one single set, there was this huge transforming desert base.

I had this as a kid and I fucking loved it I played with it all the time
I don't know what ever happen to it I hope my parents still have it
>favorite toy as a kid
Green Army Men
>when did you stop playing with it(if ever)
Around when I was 16
>what autistic shit would you do with it
Had various colors and military divisions for the toys over the years, so I would do an X-Com like game with my brother where we would be foreign nations fighting each other
>did it influence you at all
Wanted to be a general was older. Now I'm here instead
Hell yeah! Car mountain.
The car could go over the loop or through the tunnel. There was a secret hiding place in the top, and also sometimes lego guys would make an ascent on the peak. What a great toy.
Some day I'd like to drive a real car off of a cliff

i liked playing with Razors, and called them Miza.

Greatest toys to get a child imo are :

This 90s model Nerf bow & arrow
>when did you stop playing with it(if ever)
Around 13
>what autistic shit would you do with it
Walk around the street trying to shoot the arrow over each light pole and catch it on the way down
>did it influence you at all
I got a real bow and arrow and my friend came over and shot an arrow up in the air over the fence as a joke and my mom took it away forever because it could have killed someone

Oh, what a beauty of plastic and high-pressure rubber systems...
Parachute action man, tied a rope to his leg and threw him off the back deck everyday. Also love sky camo now.

oh shit nigger i had all these
feels comfy but also makes me feel like a piece of shit for not being more grateful toward my parents
>>38355846
I had this, except it was modular and it came with a VHS animation on it. I think it's called imaginex or something?
But I remember I'd build a fucking sick castle, I'd set all the guards and I'd send in my Spiderman action figure and take them out one by one.... I guess this is why I like stealth games today, because I liked sneaking as a kid. Metal Gear Solid, Hitman... Maybe I'll try Splinter Cell one day.
Pic related was so godamn fun. 10/10 would create imaginary fights again.
Bionicles. I know it's not really a toy but whatever. I collected all of them up until the last generation. Even got the rereleases just for nostalgia's sake. Devoured the books as a kid. Played with them probably until I was in middle school, and like I said, I still collected/displayed them. When I was a little kid though, I made up a huge, sprawling story that went on for literal years that was like the worst JRPG ever. I even wrote it down. Whatever happened to that journal I don't know, but I still have all my bionicles and legos.
>>38355846
Fucking hell, I loved that thing. I'd use green army men and plastic dinosaurs to make a giant cluster fuck three way battle between the knights, soldiers, and dinosaurs.
>>38357287
What happened?
>>38357574
plastic toys became more shit. using thin shit tier plastic.

>>favorite toy as a kid
GI Joe's, no question. I had a good amount of them. We didn't have much growing up, so I'd get one GI Joe on my birthday, another for Christmas with some clothes, and maybe another sometime through the year, and I loved and was grateful for each. Even when I moved out of my parents house, I took them all with me, they are chilling in a plastic storage container in the closet.
>>when did you stop playing with it(if ever)
Probably around 15. We moved a lot when I was young, so I never really made lasting friendships, and when we did settle down there were no boys within a 10 year old deviation of me, so I spent a lot of time alone.
>>what autistic shit would you do with it
Used to make huge battles that would take place over several days in my room. I'd play until I had to go to sleep, then start where I left off the next day.
>>did it influence you at all
Probably, since I played alone a lot I developed a good imagination. I also did a lot of reading to pass the time, which helped as well.
Gundam, still building them today.
>>38355711
>favorite toy as a kid
Not being beat up by my mom.
>when did you stop playing with it(if ever)
I still live with her despite pushing thirty. El-oh-el.
>what autistic shit would you do with it
Cower and take it.
>did it influence you at all
Does the fact I'm currently on /r9k/ of all places raise no alarm bells?
Tfw mommy never bought it for me
>>38355711
>favorite toy as a kid
Bionicles
>when did you stop playing with it
around 14 or 15 years old(they got broken into pieces and scattered around)
>what autistic shit would you do with it
simulating wars between the characters and flinging them around like ragdolls
>did it influence you at all
it made me happy but other than that it didn't have that much of an impact on me
my favorite toys were probably my Woody doll and BuzzLightyear action figure. I probably stopped playing with them around 8 or 9, lost them by 11.
>autistic shit
i was a bit of a fag in the making so i would "make out" with the woody doll when no one was looking.
>bonus round
I liked collecting yugioh cards and I carried around a foil dark magician girl card as a good luck charm for about a year, would go off to a corner and just cusp it in my hands and stare at it when ever i felt nervous.
>>38358477
This was the best fucking thing....
I wish I still had this, it was as cool as it looked.
Best toy I had as a kid was my cock
>>38355711
must be my old legos and Gargoyles action figures
>>38358630
I don't know which those two anecdotes are more autistic but I haven't laughed this hard in a while. Thanks anon.
