How many of my fellow cutfags here are restoring?

Next month will make it 1 year since I started seriously restoring. I heard about it beforehand and tried tugging on a few occasions, but stopped. I eventually got frustrated with having a dry, tight, desensitized cut dick and started tugging on a consistent basis. I used to get tiny little cuts on my dick from jerking off and I would have to stop for a few days. I'm still not nearly finished, I'd say there's still another year to go, but the progress I've made has been enough to keep going. No cuts and soreness anymore, and it's much easier to orgasm.

Yet, I'm still not close to complete flaccid coverage. Progress has been slower than I'd like, but I haven't let it deter me and it only makes me want to be even more consistent. I recommend any cut person that's frustrated to look into foreskin restoration, yes it'll never be the same as uncut, but it's the next best thing.

Look up manual tugging. You can do manual all the way from start to finish and it's the only method where you get guaranteed results. The tuggers are good in theory, but 1-2 minute tugs a couple times a day gives much quicker progress

There are way too many variables to give one answer. Basically, it depends on whether you're a shower or grower, how tightly cut you were, what methods you're doing, how consistent you are, etc

I know it's reddit, but /r/foreskin_restoration is a pretty helpful place for information. Look for the CI index which tells you what stage you're at, then look at different manual methods. Retaining is essentially having the glans of your dick constantly covered speed up de-keratinization. So, some people, when they're restoring, will use what loose skin they have to pull over their glans to cover it by using things like tape. It's to de-keratinize the glans which gets rough after being exposed your whole life. Generally, people only retain when they're at a later stage because there's more skin, because if you retain while you're sleeping and there's not enough loose skin when you get a boner while sleeping, then it'll damage your dick.

A popular method on there is Andre's method, which is doing manual tugging for 2 minutes every hour, or every hour that you're free to do so. That way there's consistent tension throughout the day as opposed to tugging in the morning or at night.

Well, I haven't damaged my dick or anything. Just don't keep tugging if you're in pain, stick to recommended methods, and don't do anything dumb, you know? It's a long progress and trying to rush it doesn't work. From the progress I've made it's a lot easier to fap because the skin isn't as tight anymore, and it's a lot easier to orgasm because it's looser and a bit more sensitive now. It'll only get better for me from here on out, that's my motivation to keep tugging.

Well, not exactly. The de-keratinization of the glans alone makes it more sensitive. Also, going from having little to no motion to the gliding action a foreskin provides is a big difference in pleasure. When jerking off as a tightly cut person is like giving yourself a vertical Indian burn, it's all friction with no gliding action.

While it's true that you can't regrow the higher nerve densities found in the original foreskin tissue, you're still stretching skin that does have nerve endings. Honestly if you want something to retain with though, go to a local ace hardware and get those plastic toilet caps.
They cost like $5, and they stay on without causing pain since they are so lightweight.

I can even complete full workouts with it on and it's fucking amazing compared to o-rings.
