I had my first job interview on monday.
For context i applied for the job as an assemblyman/mechanic at a pretty good business
>i had to walk 30 minutes under the sun in incredible heat, sweating fucking buckets by the time i got there
>luckily wasnt late, bossman kept me waiting for about 10 minutes
>went over everything i would say in that time
>bossman comes in
>my first 3 sentences are allright, i get super nervous
>he expects me to convince him to hire me
>i lose my shit, nothing comes to my mind
>he asks some questions, i answer with absolute uncertanty and short answers
>we take a walk trought the facility
>dont fucking know wether or not greet the people there, everyone working on something
>we get to where i would work, 2 mechanics there (older dudes, around 60)
>shake hands with both of them
>me and bossemn make a round
>we walk in the dining room
>one of the mechanic is there
>dont recognise him right away, shake hand with him again
>realise i fucked up, doesnt say a thing
>realise he is gonna be my collegue
>get more nervous
>build up an incredibly uncertainty about the situation
>still get the job
>lolwut
This is going to be my first job ever, its pretty complex shit, im gonna start on monday. I am fucking scared that i will either fuck up, or have troubles fitting in, each would result with me being fired.
Im nervous as shit even now, even tho i know that its absolutely unreasonable.
Haven felt like such a robot since a good while
