i would recommend making a 2d indie game as it is comfier and also more profitable

I wanna tell you about my NEET day ~#350
>woke up made a cuppa and watched tv for two hours
>played piano and masturbated until around 5 pm
>walked to the beach then started making my way south, walked around 5 miles
>got call from friend living in the next city, walked back to town and took a bus to his place
>his gf kicked us out of his place so we went drinking
>11 pm we're nice and tipsy, another friend picked us up on the way to his place
>ended up smoking weed and flirting w/ 3rd friend's gf
>2 am went back to sleep at friends place, couldn't fall asleep since fucking cats kept jumping on me head
>7am me and said friend drinking coffee before I take the bus back home
>9am at home, went to sleep
>14pm took grandmas car to see shrink
>now im back and I'm bored

I dunno, I mostly enjoy it and like doing artistic stuff. It feels good to make things, show them off etc

Why is it comfier? I don't actually play games (I guess I play chess, but I try not to play too much), nor do I expect to make any money from this. Just using it as a creative outlet

bc with 3d games the programming is relatively difficult and it always looks really crappy unless u have like 50 people working on it.
but w 2d you can make shit happen as long as you can manage pixel art

Yeah, the design work is really hard for 3d stuff. I haven't found the programming to be too challenging yet, but that's probably because I am stuck working with shitty modeling skills.
