Hey speedcube lad, hearing about your adventure has inspired me to pick up my old cube. It's an incredibly dusty old zhanchi, literally have not touched it for over 2 years. Idk if they're still any good but when I got it it was like the best one on the market. I was able I solve it but only by mindlessly going through those algorithms on a how to solve video on youtube.
