problem is OP you're not the only one "convinced" they will win with 100% certainty.... most people who play are. my parents friends have been doing this trash and scratching tickets for 30+ years with little to show for it. they still think they're going to win though

Gee what are the odds of that happening? 1 in however many ads are broadcast on that station during that day. If they have a lottery ad every commercial break that day and 5 commercials per break, the odds are literally only 5 that if you turned in during a break that is what you'd see.

The odds of winning the California Lottery are 1/44 million, for the pick 5 its 1/575757, and Powerball a whopping 1/292 million. Nevertheless I bought several of each cause I really want to win big money today. People do actually win the lottery sometimes, up to 10 times a year for the major lotteries, and the pick 5 has between 5 winners a week and 5 winners a day
