For this specific fetish, no. For fetishes in general, yes, but once again things like BDSM and undressing are considered fetishes now, so I'm not sure how reliable those statistics are.

This is my first time that a thread of mine has been so popular, so I don't know whento bump, but 15 minutes seems good enough.

I used to know a girl back in middle school that was tomoko-tier; hardly talked to anyone, watched anime in the lunchroom, short, thin, with long black hair. I completely agree with this. I liked how the anime was and I'm enjoying how the early chapters are going because it's something I can get comfort out of from the similar situations going on. Where she's getting friends and getting more outgoing with them, it feels like she's leaving me behind, experiencing things I probably never will. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for her but it just feels like I'm being left behind and a little betrayed.

I too would have liked to have seen the series progress to where she's dealing with her anxiety issues and trying to stave off the suicidal thoughts.
