I did a nightwalk last week and I actually got lost in the forest, no lights, no phone and I think some wild boars followed me. I runned away from them but I fell multiple times, couldnt really walk for 2 days after that.

Evening walks, just before stores close.
Most people are gone off the street by that point and the city gets real quiet, with some occasional teenagers being loud or a car driving by.
It's like shutting off a machine, everything slows down to end in almost complete silence during the night. Summer heat also vanishes at around 10:30 PM and there's a nice cold breeze going through your hair.
Before nighttime, you get some good cold beers from a gas station, some cigs if you ran out, light one up and slowly make your way home to come back and shitpost and get fucking drunk.

I've started doing nightdrives about 2 in the morning to a train station in the next town over the past couple of nights and every time I've just had the radio on because the music they are playing around that time is usually chill nostalgic shit from the mid 90s to early 00s. Some of the 90s stuff reminds me of being a kid and watching the end of chart shows when I would wake up in the dead of night.

When I go out for nightwalks I usually listen to some chilled out trance like stuff or some Social Distortion album. It's pretty nice I suppose

I kinda miss staying up all night and sleeping all day. Night tubs were wonderful. Now I am a wage and I'm going back to school so I kinda have to have a normal sleep schedule, but it was so much better being alone at night and asleep during the day.
