Who here /emotionallyabused/ by either by one or both of your parents? How has it affected you? What kind of things were used on you? My father threatened to leave and disown me if I went out without his permission. He gave me silent treatment when I went against his will. As a result my social skills are shit and I am a failure of a human being. Of course I have to take most of the blame but the awful parenting played a big role in me becoming like this. He also didn't do it purely out of malice, he actually thought he was helping me since he has a very limited view on life. He has 0 social skills and his life reflects that. A bit like my life in that regard. He set out to make a copy of himself and he halfway succeeded.
