>start working overnights at a grocery store
>Parents and a couple other people I know act like it's a big deal, and worse than working days
>"But your sleep cycle will be fucked up and no one will be there to talk to!"
>It's comfy because of this
>I can work in peace, while listening to music I like
>I'm awake most of the night anyway, so I'm at least on a regular schedule
Who knew working retail could be so comfy
I wish i had a comfy overnight job. I used to work at a bakery overnight but that was absolutely the opposite of comfy.

Got pretty lucky. I'd have a rough time flipping my sleep cycle to make that possible.
Retail is alright though. Cashier and manager are absolutely awful but stockboy or warehouse worker is pretty fun. Enough social interaction to stay engaged but not to much that you resent customers/coworkers
What exaclty is it that you do? It seems like a fun job.

How was working at a bakery? Had an interview at ones couple months ago, but nothing came of it.
I work cuts at a grocery store. Generally easy. It's better than my last retail cuck job, and I'm making like 30 cents less an hour. I'm working more hours, so I'm still making more money per check.

I assume you are a day person? Nothing wrong with it, obviously, but I work better at night. I'm usually up until 2 or 3 am on my days off, so it wasn't a huge adjustment for me. It's what you are used to.
I worked on cash and as a stock clerk at my last job. Cash sucked, too many idiots and you're stuck in one area. Stock work was better. At least you can move around. Busy days sucked, as you had people asking for a million things.
Wouldn't want to be a manager. Lots of work for not a lot of pay

I work cuts at a local grocery store. It's pretty chill
>Cut fruits/veggies
>Put them in containers
>Price them
>Stick them on shelf
>Make sure there's no out of date stuff on shelf
>Mark it down, toss it, or save it depending on date of products or whatever
Nothing too exciting, but it's somehow relaxing
