Anyone else relate to certain villains a little too well? Ill start, Davy Jones is a beta robot
>Once normie
>fell for someone out of his league
>She promised to be faithful
>He believed her cause of love and hope and shit
>He goes out and works for her and she promises to be there when he returns
>She betrays him and isn't faithful
>parforthecourse.jpg
>Become filled with hate and rage
>Begin to tell everyone he knows women are evil
>But still loves her because she made him happy
>Doesn't move on like a healthy person
>Refuses to love again and clings harder
>Refuses to work because he is emotionally fucked
>Goes around ruining other people's lives because he's miserable
>Locks himself in his room all the time

You know he choked bitches with his tentacle beard. Look me in the eyes and tell me im wrong
>tfw no tentacle bf for a loyal girl
This guy nailed it on my feels
Obligatory Travis Bickle although you can argue if he's a villain or not.
I think villain is too much but is he a good person? I think that's a more realistic question in this case.
But still, if you can't relate to him, you need to get the fuck out.
"villain"
>>38281265
The Joker. Although i find it hard to call him a "villian" though considering how he sees reality as meaningless and that's why he is an "agent of chaos" because he's showing everyone how much of a joke existence/life is. If anything he's just a man who (like he himself says in the movie) is "ahead of the curve."
>>38282752
Yeah.
I know how edgy this sounds but I agree with you.
>>38281265
Handsome jack from borderlands is pretty robot
He's pretty relatable as well.
Sometimes I think that Davy Jones's story is exactly my love story. Fuck
> imma goddes y'now, i can not be with you forever tee-hee
>>38282752
He's behind the curve if anything
I hate how Nolan created this moral nihhilist character with different philosophies and every edgy teen suddenly feels woke
Joker in the dark knight is the literal personification of teenage angst and awakening, knowing that life has no meaning doesn't make you enlightened or "ahead' of the curve
Besides his philosophy only holds true in his mind because he's a psychopath and even he doesn't hold on to his so called "philosophy" he's just an opportunist, he isn't an agent of chaos at all.......
In fact allot of the thing she does in the movie are deliberately planned out, so much "agent of chaos" , joker is every 12 year old's relatable awakening, he's philosophy for dummies 101
Jared letto's joker is even worse, joker is the cringiest of villians thx's to suicide squad and school kids wearing joker merch thinking they know a few things, pff
You'll grow out of it i'm sure
>>38282533
He's an anti-hero
and a good one too. A role model for robots
>>38281265
Davy jones is a cuck, if a woman controls your life, you have no self value
That's what you get for clinging on to people and having faith in them
>>38282752
>edgy nihilism
lmao, grow up
>>38281265
Yeah, I love Davy Jones/Calypso. Typical robot/BPD slut romance.
Tia Dalma: You know of Davy Jones? A man of the sea, a great sailor. Until he run afoul of that which vexes all men.
Will Turner: What vexes all men?
Tia Dalma: What indeed.
Gibbs: The sea?
Pintel: Sums?
Ragetti: The dichotomy of good and evil?
Jack Sparrow: A woman.
Tia Dalma: A woman. He fell in love.
Gibbs: No, no, I heard it was the sea he fell in love with.
Tia Dalma: [annoyed] Same story, different versions. And all are true. See, it was a woman as changing and harsh and untamable as the sea. Him never stopped loving her. But the pain it caused was to much to live with, but not enough to cause him to die.
Tia Dalma: My sweet, you've come for me.
Davy Jones: You were expecting me?
Tia Dalma: It has been torture, trapped in this single form, cut off from the sea. From all that I love. From you.
Davy Jones: Ten years, I devoted to the duty you charged me. Ten years, I looked after those who died at sea, and finally, when we could be together again, you weren't there. Why weren't you there?
Tia Dalma: It is my nature. Would you love me if I was anything but what I am?
Davy Jones: I do not love you!

Role model ?
Didn't you get anything the movie was addressing ?
I swear stupidity is dangerous
> born in a society that hates people like him
> was raised as an almost literal tool to fulfil his mother's hopes and dreams
> is constantly told that his compatriots are monsters
> infiltrates their society, finds out they are actually not bad people
> can't stay there because wrecked a lot of shit
> has no place in his homeland either because he cannot accept it's propaganda
>>38282831
Lol wut
He's like a literal opposite of everything robot
>>38283048
And that's why Nicholson's Joker is the only good portrayal of the "Joker" character ever.
He's just a criminal with a disfigured face and he is legitimately scary, because he's an actual bad guy.
Unlike the strawman nihilist Ledger Joker or the "look at me so churazee" Leto Joker, he's just a mafia dude who is slightly odd, but everyone is scared to speak out against him. And this works really well with the Batman in that film too. The Keaton Batman is just some rich kid who is completely fucking insane, you have an inversion of the roles you would expect.
The protagonist is the violent sociopath and the Joker is actually a very reasonable person, if you consider his circumstances and occupation.
>im a pedophile
>i like card games
>>38281265
>dedicate your life to hunting pirates
>almost succeed in ridding the world of the thieving murderous scum
>lose to Jack Sparrow because plot armor
>be filled with so much determination and conviction that you will yourself into undeath to kill more pirates
>have the loyalty of your entire crew even in the misery of undeath
>be cast as the bad guy despite literally doing no wrong
>die again permanently only having managed to kill one pirate captain
>>38283284
I agree Nicholson's joker is on point
All the other movie jokers push it way to much, there's an evolution in the different comic ages and Joker gradually became a trope character to just see how far they could push the edgyness
I think *the Arkham game series* did a respectable job as well in relation to the comics and the balance between scary and yet funny in his own fucked way....
I think origins was bordering on the edge but it still worked, arkham city was a great joker study, Letto is just bafflingly embarrassing
Also *Bruce Timm's animated series* should be a hallmark of how joker should be !

Everyone talks about Mr. House, but Caesar was by far my favourite lider.
I would give my right hand for a FNV remake with all the planed content
>stayed faithful to his girl for three years when they were separated
>she fucked around with someone else for one week and then completely forgot about him
>he was just a cop trying to keep the peace between two warring factions
>chinese roastie then pits her new chad against him
>they both kill eachother because of roasties antics

Superiority-complex: the post
General Grievous
Someone who used to be good to became always depressed and confused.
>>38283265
He's ugly/disfigured, everyone betrayed him especially the woman he loved, and he's regarded as the villain even though he wants to help
>>38281265
>he just wanted to do what he believed to be right and save the ones he loves, regardless of the costs
>costs him everything he held dear
>lives out the rest of his life inside of a shell
Noodles from Once Upon a time in America.
Best villain protag and one of the most relatable fictional character to me

I could never dislike King Haggard for doing what he did. I'd probably do the same.

> Nicholson Joker
> good
he's just a mass murderer, who does things for the lulz and thinks of himself as an artist.
that scene where walks into the arthouse with his henchman playing music in the background was utter cringe.
best Joker is ((although not-cinema related) would be Killing Joke's Joker.
Ledger Joker is the closest to it, except it lacks all the human element, in favor of the cool factor.
The Killing Joke actually makes Joker very human and all-in-all pathetic, while also creating great chemistry between him and Batman.
different from the other portrayals where he's mostly just a huge Villain Sue
Pic related did fucking nothing wrong
>Small businessman who has a cleanup crew for alien debris sites
>Feds overreach like they always do and take his contract away
>Forced to modify his business, now modifies alien tech and produces weapons to sell to criminals
>None of this would have happened if the government had minded its fucking business
I don't even think he's in the wrong for selling weapons to criminals, it's the criminals' choice what to do with them
the mask was chromed out
Quaritch did nothing wrong

Youre damn right on the money OP
>>38282858
>this was acceptable CGI in 2007
Surely they at least partially based him on edgy school shooters?
Villains used to be sexy until this thread was made
Def gonn akeep the image in my head separate from this mess of a thread. villains are sexy!

>Didn't you get anything the movie was addressing?

*tips divacup*
>>38288836
No, ALL villains are misunderstood heroes, with enemy Chad "protagonists"
Anakin is the ultimate cuck. Think about it.
>>38288277
I watched it two nights ago on Blu Ray and it looked fantastic.
>>38282673
this
origididdillyroony
Grendel seems like a pretty relatable "villain". Feels trapped in his role as a monster and is eventually destroyed by the epitome of a chad
Both the book and movie versions
>>38282673
this. But in the books, not that anybody reads them cause they are kinda shit- he's a much better character
>>38282533
that scene where she takes qt to watch porn in the theatre is so fucking cringe
>>38287794
Everybody loves the villian
mah niggah
>tfw no villain bf who rapes me over and over and tries to make me cry
