I'm going to write a children's book to prepare the for life, make sure they don't come out broken like you and I.
Suggestions on themes, plots, story lines, etc?
I'm starting with a stable boy that is about to be banished from his village for failing to meet their standards of beauty and intellectual prowess, when he suddenly sees his village plundered by monsters from the forest, all men are killed and the women are taken into their lair. the boy scavenges for weapons and armor as he quests for the secret lair deep underneath a mountain in the middle of the forest, where he finds the women impregnated and attached to the cave walls with sticky residue, and finds that the monsters are actually the all-males outcasts of the village that would get dumped in the forest by the rest of the town to keep their bloodlines pure and free of their imperfections. These outcasts where taken in by the original outcast, a co founder of the village that had been betrayed and incarcerated in the mountain with magic, and he organizes and strengthens the newcomers until they are ready to revolt and destroy the village and turn the women into breeding cattle.
And so the boy attacks the elder outcast, hoping to redeem himself and save the village, but he is tricked into using a weapon that switches the consciousness of the aggressor with its victim, and so the boy dies in the old withering body of the elder, and the original outcast takes possession of the young boy's body.
Morale of the story is to never go into the forest alone or you can get raped or killed by strangers.
