Opinions on using st. john's wort for depression? Who here has tried it and what results did you experience if any?

I've been taking 900mg daily for about 2 weeks now and I think I'm starting to notice some positive effects.

it seemed to provide me a bit more clarity and thus be a bit less troubled
after a year or so it has either worn off or i am at that level naturally now
