I hate it when people call Brazilian Jiu jitsu just jiujitsu. They are totally different martial arts.


I learn Krav Maga. It's pretty good and my teacher is ex-army. However, he was pretty honest that the drill and sparring we do won't really help us against a trained mma figher (unless you kick in the balls before he gets to you).

I want to get better at Krav Maga then take up Muay thai and bjj.

Krav Maga is good for that. We do specific games with attackers with knives; the guys who are good are fucking amazing.

From what I've learned western boxing is actually pretty amazing for self-defence.

I did jiu jitsu for years , even got a blue belt. I never got used to having to partner with people. I still hate it to this day even though I haven't trained in over a year
