Torpedo is a great beer. One of my favorites. Tonight I'm having a few glasses of wine. Gnarly Head 1924.

OFtentimes when I drink really hoppy beer, gives me a terrible headache and hangover. But torpego, Im 5 in and still feel ok! I wonder if the brweing process offects how you feel. I heard some breweing companeis use certain oils for processing their beers, maybe sierra nevada is better at it than others? anyone have insight on this?

Sierra Nevada seems to have some pretty talented people working for them. That's a heavily hopped beer but they still keep it exceptionally well balanced. The best beer in the world isn't going to help you tomorrow though if you have too many.

What's weird is that despite being "super hoppy" it actually tastes less bitter than a lot of other IPAs. What is Sieera Nevada's main IPA? my favorite beer is nugget nectar, but thats only avaialble in the spring...this seems to come close

It just sucks, sometimes when I have certain beers, I feel so unogodly terrible, I assumed that I was allergic to beers/IPAs for a time. But maybe its just certain kinds

That is their main IPA. They also make a pale ale (non-India variant) that is lighter in flavor and alcohol.

Sieera Nevada Pale ale is good but too damn light. I like heavier beers, because I dont like win, but I like getting drunk....Im surprised this is their main IPA, despite being advertised as "extra IPA":

Sierra Nevada has pretty solid stuff. Their Orta Vez goze ale is pretty good too.
