Gone are the days of WW2-era tactics. If WWIII ever happens and its NOT a nuclear extinction event it will be missile exchanges of lesser munitions, politics, soldiers guarding key areas, some air exchanges, and more politics. Best you could ever hope for from a draft would be basic infantry movement.
You'll more than likely never ride or operate a tank, or even a humvee for that matter, or even a nice march. You might be able to get away with setting your rifle to the FUN setting if shit on base gets boring but never an actual mounted gun or in combat.
