>You notice a passage concealed by a loose board along the corridor in which you are exploring
>0w0 what's this?
>You saunter stealthily through the cramped walk space
>The going is treacherous, as the passage appears to have been blasted out of the stone millennia ago
>With some struggle, you make it to a fork in the path
>At the end of the left tunnel, you see an immaculate white glow, indicating a heavenly light source on the other side
>The right tunnel is eerily black, a virtual Eigengrau, as if whatever waits at its end is voraciously sucking in any light unlucky enough to venture down the passage
>The sheer contrast of these two extremes throws you into instinctive response
>Without thinking, you begin to hurry towards the holy cleansing of the light at the end of the left tunnel
>But just as you reach the opening, your nerves settle, and you regain a sense of awareness that was seemingly vaporized by the intense light
>A recollection of the ornate wrist tattoo your inn keeper had this morning works its way into your mind
>"Fear the light. Give in to the dark."
>Feeling uneasy about the source of the all-piercing light, you double back to the fork in the passage way, and enter the void of the right tunnel
>You continue on for what seems like hours, your senses becoming disoriented by the utter darkness
>You know you've been going straight (there is hardly room to turn in the cramped passageway) but you feel you've turned yourself around somehow
>At last, by sensing the space gradually get bigger until you cannot touch the walls any longer, you know you have exited the tunnel, but the think blackness denies your eyes the triumph of beholding where exactly you've ended up
>As if a dense layer of fog had been banished from the realm, the darkness dissipates all at once
>In it's place, you witness the light that was always there, waiting for the eyes of a worthy adventurer to reveal itself to
>You finally see the greatest prize this life can offer
(cnt.)
>>
>Yet this end is only a beginning
>Standing before you, the image of God delivers the sentence you've dreamed of hearing for so long
