This is a thread for those of us living with chronic pain, for we need a shoulder to lean on. Living in pain all the time tears any little enjoyment or comfortability life has apart, it's a cruel joke played on us by an uncaring god.
How do you manage your pain and how long has it gone on for?
Do you hope to one day live a life more free from pain or have you resigned yourself to hoping that death is more pleasant.
How much of a day is spent thinking of your pain?

I can start.
I've had my pain for the last four years despite being only twenty one, it's gotten worse with each year and looks to get worse as I get older.
I hope one day to get treatment to make manageable but all doctors have provided nothing to help so I'm starting to give up hope.
Probably 40% of my thoughts revolve around wishing I wasn't in pain.
