>it appears you have many gaps in your employment record why is that?
Because I could.
>So, anon tell me, what gets you out of bed in the morning?
Tremendous amounts of willpower.
Or a fire.
>we'll let you know
Cool.
All that really matter is if you look them in the eye and give them a firm handshake

Giving firm handshakes
this is the worst question, it shouldn't matter at all, but it does. here's how to answer: tell them you were either very ill and bedridden (and you don't like talking about it) or that you were helping an elderly family member with their daily life activities before they passed. it doesn't matter if it's true or not because they won't be able to verify it. kinda sketchy, but that's how i got around it when i was out of work for long periods of time. you pretty much can't lie about anything else in an interview as easily as this.

Can I say I went around the world?

I've taught English overseas. That usually helps sell this excuse.

yes, definitely. but you will have to tell stories because they will ask. it can be anything as long as it can't be confirmed by anybody instantly.

Wouldn't they want verifiable experience teaching english overseas? I'm really good at geography and history (I've been playing Europa Universalis for 8 years). I could easily tell people about different parts of the world.

Did they actually ask those questions during your interviews OP?
>it appears you have many gaps in your employment record why is that?
I was working at your moms house in between jobs
>So, anon tell me, what gets you out of bed in the morning?
Your wife when you are at work,
