Chances are you'll just get boned.

I've worked as one before. Be prepared for some back breaking labour and dealing with all kinds of shitty weather. I can probably answer your questions if you have any.

jokes aside, how does one get to work at a church without talking in front of people like a priest? It seems pretty nice to wagecuck for Christ.
>>
>>38192843
Yes. Please tell some stories. I worked manual labour before. Packing firewood (cuz I'm retarded), mowing lawns carpentry etc
>>
>>38193971
Well I mostly dug small graves for urns, planted some flowers, did some standard grave maintenance, removed a grave once in a while and helped digging new graves. The most intersting story I'd say is this one

Not sure if this is a thing where you live but over here we have double graves. They're deeper than normal graves and two coffins are put on top of each other. It's for married couples who wanna be together even in death I guess.

>another day at work
>there's a relatively new double grave, maybe two months or so old
>only one of them died though so there's still room for another coffin
>the other person apparently died so we had to open the grave for the other coffin
>the smell of death starts pretty soon after we start digging
>we reach the other coffin
>it caved in and I could see the corpse

And that's the first time I saw a rotting corpse
>>
>>38194204
Damn, son. I've read some creepy stories where the gravedigger have seen little children and opened 100+ year old graves and the wall of the coffin have clawingmarks on them, but aside from those stories (which I take with a grain of salt) it seems pretty nice tending to churchyards.
>>
>>38194204
Another one I've got was the one time I stole bones from a graveyard

>was an edgy fucker at the time
>we had to remove another grave
>found bones still left in it and a skull
>feverishly contemplate how I'm gonna smuggle the skull home because it's a fucking skull
>decide that there's no way I can get it home without being caught
>pocketed some smaller bones instead

I can post a picture of them with timestamp if one of you wants it.
>>
>>38194204

so what do they do when that happens? I can't imagine they'd let the family smell that for the graveside service.
>>
>>38194343
It didn't really affect me negatively or anything like that. Only the smell was horrible
>>
>>38194394
They had an ozone generator for such ocsassions. I don't know how effective it was though since we had to stay away from funerals themself
>>
>>38194373
Yes. Pics + timestamp

what does a gravr 'removal' mean? Clearing an old grave for a new burial?
>>
>>38194888
Not bone-guy, but yeah I think so.
>>
>>38194373
grave robbing is the lowest thing a person can do, you should feel bad anon
>>
>>38194640
Grind the bones to dust to use as an ingredient for food served to unsuspecting normies
>>
>>38195145
taking a century old bone from a grave that is to be abolished is not robbery. Grave-robbing is deliberatily opening graves and steaing valuables like watches jewelry etc.
>>
>>38194204
How did you get the job? Please be as detailed as possible
>>
>>38194859
Atleast over 25 years. That's when graves are usually removed
>>38195145
This guy is basically right>>38195223
The bones would have been thrown in the trash if I hadn't taken them. And I'll cherish them forever since there are memories attached to it.
>>38195276
It was just a summer job my parents made me do. But over here you have to do a three year apprenticeship to do the job while making decent money.
>>
>>38195620
>summer job my parents made me do
So... how did you get the job without the three year apprenticeship? Pure nepotism?
>>
>>38195677
Nope. I got the idea to work at a cemetary for the summer if I had to do a summer job, searched for cemetaries nearby, called the people that took care of that cemetary and asked if I could work there for the summer, they said they'd call me back once they made their decision, they called me back and I had the job. The pay was shit but the work itself was kinda fun.

Nowadays I'm trying to become a crime scene cleaner if anyone's interested. So yeah I'm a bit weird when it comes to my job choices
>>
>>38196095
so instead of cleaning vomit and shit like a typical wagecuck you want to clean blood and rotting meat
i would stick to grave digging it's edgier and there are no chanses of having contact with hiv+ blood
>>
>>38196204
My chances of dying early are pretty high so I don't really mind the small risk of a possible infection or whatever. The pay is also quite decent so that's a plus
>>
Never heard of grave removal. I live in a rural area and graves are left alone, as they should be.
>>
>>38196394
Yeah I also think it's pretty horrible to just remove graves after such a short time. Final resting place my ass
>>
>>38196394
that's why if i ever make it into normiehood (i'm a cyborg) i'll ask them to burn my body and keep the ashes somwhere in the house
>>
>>38196471
That's what we did for my mum. It's really the best choice if you live in a city. And it's not absurdly expensive like most funerals
>>
>>38196394
old graves are the best i love to look at them
my family is buried on the grave yard in rural area and as a kid i wandered into small wild forest that grows on that graveyard and i found some old german graves back from 1800s
cool shit man i go there every time there's opportunity

I think it's time you found a job son, I'm taking you straight to the cemetery.

More money in being a mortician.
>>
I just remembered a story the other guys working there told me

>another guy used to work there
>he regularly got shitfaced at work
>one time a funeral was about to be held
>the guy had to piss
>he went behind the hedge that was right next to a path where people regularly walk by
>it was winter so you could easily look through the hedge
>the funeral attendees arrive and see the guy with his dick out just pissing on a cemetary

he didn't work there much longer after that
