I like the idea of getting a small dog.

Basically a cat I can take on walks.

But most small dogs will. Not. Shut. Up.

I hate yappy dogs. Knew a family with a bunch of daschunds that would bark ALL DAY. They eventually had their vocal cords snipped so now they bark like a patient with lung cancer in an old folks home.

I've met small dogs that were chill. Relaxed. Happy. Not barky. Not yappy.

But I don't want to get a small dog only for it to turn out to be obnoxious as f and then feel guilt tripped into keeping it.
